Harmonia Rosales is an Afro-Cuban American painter born in Chicago in 1984 who rewrites art history by placing Black women at the center of Renaissance grandeur. Raised on the West Side, she grew up immersed in Santería and stories of Yoruba orishas told by her grandmother, while her mother, a children’s book illustrator, modeled her as the original Addy for American Girl, seeding an early awareness of representation. Entirely self taught, Rosales uses oil on Belgian linen to craft luminous scenes where classical composition meets Afrocentric power: in Creation of God she recasts Michelangelo’s Sistine moment as a Black woman birthing Eve from a celestial womb, flipping the narrative of origin and authority.
Her palette glows with gold leaf and jewel tones, echoing Renaissance luxury while depicting natural hair, dark skin and African textiles as the new ideal of beauty. Works such as Birth of Oshun reimagine Botticelli’s Venus as the Yoruba orisha of love and rivers, surrounded by Black angels who radiate both sensuality and divinity. These paintings serve as acts of healing, offering her daughter and viewers of the diaspora mirrors of strength and self love within stories long dominated by white figures.
Exhibitions at the Museum of the African Diaspora, Los Angeles County Museum of Art and a touring show Master Narrative have positioned Rosales at the forefront of contemporary discourse on race, gender and identity. By merging impeccable Old Master technique with radical reclamation, she invites us to question accepted canons and to see harmony in a world where Black women reign as creators, goddesses and agents of their own history.

Mason Storm 'Monkey Parliament' Print Available

Artist: Mason Storm
Title: Monkey Parliament
Medium: Deckled Edge Giclee Print
Size: (A4) 29.7 x 21 cm
Edition: TIMED
Price: £50

Mason Storm is the pseudonym of an anonymous British artist whose work fuses hyperreal technique with biting social satire. Born in Leeds and now based in London, he began painting urban walls in the early 2000s, developing a style that places photoreal figures inside theatrical, often humorous scenarios. His best known images include a monkey parliament that apes human politics and a rhinestone studded Mona Lisa, both of which echo the visual jokes and anti establishment tone associated with Banksy.
The connection between the two names intensified in 2018 when Mason Storm announced he would unveil the identity of Banksy during a live streamed event, generating global press coverage. Although the reveal never materialised, the stunt positioned Storm as a provocateur operating in the same myth building tradition. Further overlap occurred in 2021 when Storm pasted his own design over the site of Banksy’s Bristol mural Aachoo!!; the replacement piece was removed within twelve hours, yet photographs of the swap circulated widely, reinforcing the idea that both artists treat city walls as interchangeable stages for commentary.
Storm continues to release limited edition prints and large canvases through online platforms and galleries such as Stowe Gallery, always signing with the same masked logo that keeps his face and legal name hidden. By adopting anonymity, staging public interventions and remixing iconic imagery, Mason Storm proves that the spirit of Banksy can live on through new hands, ensuring British street art remains a playground where spectacle and critique ride side by side.

Sexsdreams is the alias of Gioele Corradengo, a multidisciplinary Italian-Argentinian artist born in Milan in 1996. Drawn to urban art from an early age, he began by spraying graffiti across the city’s outer districts, developing a loose, punk-inflected style that pairs raw mark-making with day-glo colour. His signature motif is a wide-eyed, cartoonish face that he calls “the dreamer,” a character he repeats on walls, windows and canvas to suggest a restless inner world colliding with public space.
Working in acrylic, spray paint and ink, Corradengo builds layered compositions where dripping tags float over soft pastel clouds, creating a tension between aggression and whimsy. Recent pieces incorporate wedding dresses, sneakers and reclaimed wood, pushing his practice beyond traditional street supports. In 2024 fashion house Justin Alexander Signature invited him to hand-paint graffiti motifs onto silk gowns for its spring collection, merging bridal elegance with street energy and expanding his audience from alleyways to catwalks.
Despite the fashion crossover, Sexsdreams continues to paint unauthorized walls throughout Milan, Barcelona and Berlin, believing that surprise encounters keep the work honest. Limited-edition prints and original panels are released through Stowe Gallery and his own online drops, each piece stamped with his scrawled tag to certify its origin. By fusing irreverent humour with dreamy pastel palettes, Sexsdreams offers a fresh voice in European street art, proving that a single recurring face can travel from train yard to runway without losing its restless spirit.

Aiko/Montana 'Tokyo Pink' Can Available

Artist: Aiko
Title: MTN Spray Can
Medium: Custom Printed Montana Can in Box
Size: Spray Paint Can Size
Edition: 500
Price: $50

Aiko is a Japanese born street artist and printmaker who became one of the original members of the New York collective FAILE. Born Aiko Nakagawa in Tokyo in 1975, she studied filmmaking and graphic design before moving to New York City in 1997. There she met Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller, and together they formed the trio that would evolve into FAILE, wheat-pasting layered pop culture collages across downtown walls.
Within the collective Aiko brought a refined stencil technique and a feminine perspective, often inserting elegant female silhouettes, kimono patterns and delicate line work amid the group’s chaotic posters. She documented early street missions on camera and helped develop the ripped, multi-layer aesthetic that became FAILE’s signature. In 2006 she left the group to pursue solo projects, adopting the moniker Lady Aiko, and quickly gained recognition for her own imagery: geishas, butterflies and a recurring bunny motif first sprayed on a bathroom door in Banksy’s London studio.
Today Aiko works on canvas, wood and large outdoor walls from Brooklyn to Miami, Tokyo and Berlin. Her process still relies on hand-cut stencils, gold leaf and spray paint, blending ukiyo-e influences with contemporary street energy. Murals such as Lady With Parasol in Little Italy and Geisha Walk on the Bowery have become landmarks, while gallery exhibitions in New York, London and Paris present limited edition prints that sell out rapidly. By merging Japanese iconography with punk attitude, Aiko continues to expand the dialogue between Eastern tradition and Western street culture, proving that grace and rebellion can coexist on the same wall.
