Marq Spusta is an American artist born in 1977 who grew up in rural Wisconsin and earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin. Stout before settling in California. He is best known for wildly colorful, intricately detailed concert posters and fine-art screen-prints that merge visionary landscapes with whimsical characters reminiscent of Dr. Seuss and Jim Henson.

His early gig-poster work for bands such as Widespread Panic, Phish, Tom Petty and the Rolling Stones quickly made him a mainstay of the rock-poster community, while his sell-out solo shows at Spoke Art, Bottleneck Gallery, Gabba Gallery and Decadent Art Gallery have pushed his imagery into the contemporary art market. Working primarily in acrylic and ink, Spusta builds layers of translucent pigment and metallic overlays until trees shimmer and creatures appear to glow from within, a technique he honed during years of hand-pulled screen-printing.

Recent projects include a mini-documentary shot at Further Frames in Denver, limited resin sculptures and large canvas paintings exhibited in Los Angeles, Seattle and San Francisco. Whether designing a festival poster or a gallery painting, Spusta approaches each piece as a portal to an enchanted ecosystem, inviting viewers to step inside radiant forests where music, memory and imagination echo in every leaf.

__________________________

Yoko Ono, born 1933 in Tokyo, is a conceptual artist, musician, and peace activist whose quiet instructions have echoed loudly across avant garde art and pop culture for six decades. Trained in philosophy and music, she broke into New York’s early '60s scene with Instruction Paintings texts that asked viewers to "light a match and watch till it goes out" and Cut Piece, a 1964 performance where audience members snipped away her clothes, exposing vulnerability and power.
Her 1966 London show introduced her to John Lennon; their collaborations Bed-Ins, War Is Over! billboards married Fluxus wit to mass media reach, turning honeymoon into protest and pop songs into manifestos. Ono’s solo recordings pushed boundaries of voice and noise: Fly (1971) layers primal screams over proto-disco grooves, influencing punk and new wave feminists.
Dismissed by critics as “the woman who broke up the Beatles,” she persisted, amassing a discography of 20 studio albums, Grammy nominated dance remixes, and 18 Billboard No. 1 hits. Visual work evolved into site-specific Wish Trees, mirrored Sky installations, and the 2022 Imagine tower in Berlin, inviting public participation as both medium and message.
Honoured with Venice Biennale’s Golden Lion (2009), Ono continues to tweet daily haiku like aphorisms to millions. At 91 she remains the consummate catalyst: whispering imperatives Breathe, Dream, Remember that turn spectators into co-authors of art, love and revolution.

Bahar Artan Oskay 'The Presence Of Absence' Print Available

Artist: Bahar Artan Oskay
Title: The Presence Of Absence
Medium: Wall Sculpture
Size: 24.2 x 20.5 cm
Edition: 150
Prices: $900

Istanbul-born Bahar Artan Oskay (1984) turns destruction into design. Armed with degrees from Yeditepe and Yıldız Technical Universities culminating in a Ph.D. she began by re-styling modern masters, inserting Mondrian grids and Matisse cut-outs into pop-culture contexts to test how fame warps seeing. Frustrated by her own polished surfaces, she literalized Picasso’s maxim that “every act of creation is first an act of destruction.” Oskay now saws dry figurative canvases into loose squares, then re-assembles the shards into swirling, pixel-like abstractions where brush-strokes meet saw-blade scars. The process is half chess, half chance: she never knows which color relationships will survive the shuffle, so each final panel records a tense truce between control and chaos.
The resulting wall works shown in solo and group exhibitions across Turkey and Japan read as slow-motion explosions of her earlier style, simultaneously erasing and preserving personal art history. By grafting fragments above the picture plane, she also toys with sculptural depth, letting shadows complete the composition as daylight shifts. When she isn’t cutting canvases, Oskay teaches and co-directs the Fine Arts program at Yeditepe, mentoring the next generation to question, cut and rebuild whatever tradition they inherit.

Imbue 'Always The Real Thing' (Cola Fade) Sculpture Available

Artist: Imbue
Title: Always The Real Thing (Cola Fade)
Medium: Resin Sculpture
Size: 6 x 12.2 x 5 cm
Edition: UNSURE
Prices: £50

Imbue is a UK-based contemporary artist known for provocative artworks that fuse pop culture, consumer branding, and social critique. Often compared to Banksy and other subversive street artists, Imbue’s work challenges viewers to reconsider the systems and symbols that shape modern life. His art frequently manipulates iconic imagery; religious symbols, cartoon characters, corporate logos to spark dialogue around capitalism, faith, and the blurred line between art and advertising.

Emerging from the street art scene in Brighton, Imbue has expanded his practice to include prints, sculptures, and conceptual objects that push boundaries of both legality and taste. Works like his “Holy Coke” bottles glass containers combining sacred and consumerist references have become emblematic of his irreverent, thought-provoking style.

Imbue’s projects often sell out quickly online, creating cult-like anticipation for each release. His limited-edition prints and objects circulate widely among collectors who are drawn to his bold, controversial approach. While rooted in street-level interventions, his reach extends into galleries and global exhibitions, where his pieces resonate with audiences questioning consumer culture.

By confronting familiar symbols with biting humor and critique, Imbue has established himself as one of the more recognized independent voices in contemporary street and urban art.
