Born John Graham Mellor in Ankara Turkey the legendary musician and artist known as Joe Strummer remains a towering figure in the world of collectable punk rock memorabilia and fine art prints. Growing up as the son of a British diplomat he spent his early years traveling between Egypt Mexico and Germany before settling in the United Kingdom for his formal education. It was during his time at the City of London Freemen School that he first began focusing on art earning an A level in the subject and developing a keen interest in visual storytelling. This passion led him to enroll in a foundation course at the Central School of Art and Design in London during 1970 where he initially harbored ambitions of becoming a professional cartoonist. These formative years in the London art scene provided the creative bedrock for his later work as a songwriter and visual archivist establishing a unique aesthetic that continues to drive demand for limited edition posters and rare lithographs among serious collectors.
The significant accomplishments of Joe Strummer extend far beyond his role as the frontman of The Clash into the realm of profound social and visual commentary. Throughout his career he maintained a practice of rigorous creative output that resulted in a massive personal archive of over 20,000 items including hand drawn lyric sheets set lists and intricate collages. Collectors often seek out high quality giclee prints and official exhibition posters that capture his raw energy and political conviction. His visual legacy has been celebrated in major gallery settings most notably in the Black Market Clash exhibition held in Soho London which showcased his personal typewriter and original artwork to the public. Other notable displays of his work have occurred through the Subway Gallery and the Joe Strummer Archive curated by Robert Gordon McHarg III ensuring that his contributions to the visual arts are preserved with the same intensity as his musical discography.
For those looking to invest in authentic pieces of history famous visual works and iconic print designs associated with Joe Strummer often feature his distinct handwriting and bold graphic style. Key pieces that define his visual identity include the original sketches for his custom 1966 Telecaster the striking album artwork concepts for Assembly and the various DIY punk flyers he designed during his early days in London. Limited edition runs like the Joe Strummer In New York 1983 fine art prints and the rare Global A Go Go tour posters are highly prized within the poster collector community for their archival quality and historical significance. By blending his rebellious spirit with a formal art education he created a body of work that transcends simple fandom becoming a legitimate pillar of late twentieth century British art. Collectors today prioritize these authenticated releases as they represent a tangible connection to a man who viewed every medium as a tool for revolution.

Artist: Michael Strevens
Title: Arrangements In Blue
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: 16 x 20 Inches
Edition: UNSURE
Price: $99

Michael Strevens is a digital artist and designer from the United Kingdom who has gained recognition for his intricate and mathematically inspired works of art. Often operating under his real name, Michael Strevens, he focuses on the intersection of geometry, rhythm, and visual perception. His artistic practice primarily revolves around the exploration of moiré patterns, op art, and algorithmic structures, creating a sense of movement and depth on two-dimensional surfaces. By utilizing digital tools, he meticulously layers repetitive lines and shapes to produce complex optical illusions that challenge the viewer’s eye and evoke a feeling of kinetic energy.
Based in London, Strevens draws inspiration from the heritage of mid-century abstract movements while pushing the boundaries of what is possible with modern software. Artist: Donk London
Title: The Humble Magnificent
Medium: 5 Color Screen Print
Size: (A2) 42 x 59.4 cm
Edition: 200

Donk London is a contemporary artist based in London who has gained recognition for a distinct visual style that bridges the gap between urban street culture and high-end gallery aesthetics. His body of work often explores the intersection of luxury, power, and identity, utilizing a vibrant palette and bold iconography to challenge social hierarchies. One of the defining characteristics of his practice is the frequent use of gold leaf and intricate textures, which serve to elevate mundane or gritty subjects into objects of opulence. This technique creates a physical depth that invites viewers to consider the value systems inherent in modern society.
London frequently draws inspiration from classical art history while infusing his pieces with the raw energy of the city. By reinterpreting traditional portraiture through a lens of hip-hop culture and modern fashion, he constructs narratives that celebrate individuality and resilience. His art is not merely decorative; it often acts as a commentary on the fleeting nature of fame and the pursuit of the American Dream within a European context. Through various mediums, including acrylics and mixed media on canvas, he maintains a balance between refined technical skill and spontaneous expression.
The artist’s presence in the international art scene continues to grow as his work resonates with a diverse audience that values both technical mastery and cultural relevance. Simeon Farrar 'Love' Print Available

Artist: Simeon Farrar
Title: Love
Medium: 1 Color Screen Print
Size: 40 x 60 cm
Edition: OPEN
Price: £40

Simeon Farrar is the British artist and designer behind Black Score, a London label that turns sharp social commentary into wearable art. Born in 1975, he studied fashion at Central Saint Martins before launching his own brand in 2004, frustrated by the industry’s pace and waste. Working from a studio in Shoreditch, he hand prints every T-shirt, sweatshirt and canvas tote with bold, single colour graphics that quote pop culture, politics and art history.
Farrar’s process begins with freehand ink drawings made on hotel notepads during late night flights. These sketches are scanned, enlarged and burned onto silk screens, then pushed across cotton using water based pigment. The limited runs often sell out within hours, creating a cult following that includes musicians, actors and museum curators. Recent collections have featured reinterpretations of Renaissance masterpieces, supermarket logos and tabloid headlines, each image stripped to its essential outline so the message hits quickly.
Despite commercial success, Farrar keeps production local and small, believing that scarcity preserves integrity. When he is not printing, he paints large canvases that extend the same visual language into gallery spaces, exhibiting at venues such as the Saatchi Gallery and Somerset House. By merging fashion, activism and fine art, Simeon Farrar proves that a simple cotton shirt can be a billboard for ideas, and that independent creativity can still shout above the noise of mass production.
