Pete Monaghan 'Made' (Ice Cream Van) Print Available

Artist: Pete Monaghan
Title: Made (Ice Cream Van)
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: NO CLUE
Edition: 50
Price: £145

Pete Monaghan is an artist who was born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and is primarily based in the United Kingdom. Although his roots are English, he maintains a deep and enduring connection to Ireland, where he spent many years living and working. This dual heritage significantly informs his creative output, as he often bridges the gap between the rural landscapes of Wales and Ireland and the industrial textures of English towns. He received his education in graphic design before transitioning into the world of fine art, a background that is evident in the structured yet expressive nature of his current work.
His artistic style is characterized by a fusion of traditional draftsmanship and experimental mixed media techniques. Monaghan often utilizes a variety of materials, including acrylics, ink, graphite, and even collage elements such as corrugated cardboard or found papers. His primary subjects are vernacular architecture and local landmarks, ranging from weathered farm buildings and isolated sheds to bustling market squares. By focusing on these structures, he explores themes of human presence and the passage of time without relying on figurative representation.
The process Monaghan employs is highly physical and layers-based. He begins with loose, energetic sketches that capture the essential character of a location before building up the surface with paint and textured materials. This method allows him to balance precise architectural lines with spontaneous, gestural marks. The result is a body of work that feels both grounded in reality and emotionally resonant. His paintings are widely exhibited across galleries in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where he is recognized for his unique ability to elevate everyday buildings into compelling visual narratives.

Jon Llewelyn 'Elements Study 5' Print Available

Artist: Jon Llewelyn
Title: Elements Study 5
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: 42 x 59.4 cm
Edition: 50
Price: £280

Jon Llewelyn is a celebrated artist hailing from Wales who has gained international recognition for his unique approach to geometric abstraction and minimalist design. His work is deeply rooted in the principles of the Bauhaus movement, where the relationship between form, color, and space is meticulously explored. Llewelyn’s artistic practice often involves the use of bold, architectural shapes and a vibrant palette, which he utilizes to create a sense of balance and harmony within his compositions. His technique frequently combines traditional screen-printing methods with modern digital processes, allowing him to achieve crisp lines and flat planes of color that characterize his signature style.
The artist draws significant inspiration from the mid-century modern era, particularly the furniture and architecture that defined that period. This influence is evident in the structural integrity of his pieces, which often feel like they could exist as three-dimensional objects. By focusing on the interplay of light and shadow through the layering of ink and paper, he manages to instill a sense of depth in what initially appears to be a two-dimensional surface. Llewelyn’s portfolio demonstrates a commitment to technical precision while maintaining a playful and rhythmic quality that engages the viewer's perception. His ability to distill complex visual ideas into their most basic geometric components has made his work a staple in both private collections and commercial spaces worldwide. Through his ongoing experimentation with symmetry and color theory, he continues to push the boundaries of graphic art, solidifying his reputation as a key figure in the field of modern abstraction.

Gareth Lye 'There You Are' Print Available

Artist: Gareth Lye
Title: There You Are
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: 20 x 20 cm
Edition: 50
Prices: £75

Gareth Lye is a contemporary British artist recognized for his evocative approach to figurative and landscape painting. His work frequently explores the intersections of memory, place, and the human condition, often utilizing a muted palette to create a sense of stillness and introspection. By focusing on the subtle textures of the environment, Lye captures the ephemeral quality of light and shadow, grounding his subjects in a space that feels both grounded in reality and suspended in a dreamlike state.
The artist demonstrates a profound technical mastery over his medium, employing layering techniques that lend a physical depth to the canvas. His compositions often feature solitary figures or abandoned spaces, inviting the viewer to contemplate themes of isolation and the passage of time. This narrative quality is a hallmark of his style, as he avoids overt storytelling in favor of an atmospheric ambiguity that allows for personal interpretation. Lye has gained recognition within the art community for his ability to convey complex emotional states through minimalist arrangements and deliberate brushwork.
In addition to his figurative studies, his landscapes serve as a testament to his observational skills. These works often highlight the quiet beauty of the British countryside, emphasizing the structural elements of the land rather than its decorative aspects. Through his consistent dedication to exploring the quietude of daily existence, Gareth Lye has established himself as a compelling voice in modern painting. His contributions to the field continue to resonate with those who appreciate art that values subtlety, technical precision, and a deep, reflective engagement with the world.

Phlegm is a highly acclaimed, anonymous Welsh-born artist known for his distinctive, intricate, monochrome illustrative style that first emerged in the mid-2000s from the UK's urban art scene. Originally a prolific comic book illustrator, he successfully translated his detailed, surreal, and often dystopian imagery from paper to large-scale public murals and gallery spaces worldwide. His signature style is instantly recognizable, featuring dense, fantastical worlds populated by bizarre, mechanical, and organic figures, often towering narratives that intertwine and overlap across entire building facades. Phlegm's work consistently explores complex themes of industrialization, mythology, environmental decay, and philosophical narratives about the human condition and creation itself.
The artist prefers to create immersive, site-specific installations, utilizing the existing architecture to inform the composition, making each piece a unique dialogue between his imagination and the urban landscape. His pieces, almost exclusively black and white, reject the vibrant color palette typical of many street artists, forcing the viewer to focus instead on the overwhelming detail, line work, and narrative depth. He operates with a high degree of anonymity, allowing his elaborate, sprawling works to speak for themselves. Phlegm has exhibited in major cities globally, including London, New York, Toronto, and Sydney, establishing himself not just as a street artist, but as a significant force in contemporary fine art, celebrated for his technical precision and imaginative scope. His practice continually blurs the lines between street art, fine art, and sequential illustration.
