Pétronille Maïche is an artist and illustrator originally from France, specifically based in the city of Nantes. Her creative journey began with a childhood passion for drawing and painting, which she later refined through technical studies at a design school in Nantes. After an initial career path in commerce and entrepreneurship, which included working in an old-fashioned toy shop, she returned to her artistic roots in July 2020 to pursue her craft professionally under the pseudonym "Pepette". Her work is characterized by a deep appreciation for the unique textures and permanence of traditional media.

As of 2026, her portfolio primarily features linocuts and detailed drawings made with India ink. She focuses on maritime subjects, such as sea life and coastal scenes, which she has exhibited at venues like the Galerie Georges Bessière on the island of Noirmoutier.
