Originally from Singapore and currently based in East London, Cassandra Yap is an accomplished artist and art director whose screen prints blend vintage aesthetics with surrealist themes. Fuelled by a fascination with vintage pin ups, the female form, and a deep interest in vintage erotica, she creates bold, dark, and humorous imagery, often exploring the juxtaposition between the macabre and the beautiful. Cassandra Yap utilizes the intensive hands on screen printing process to create limited edition prints often featuring intricate hand applied screen printed layers and in some cases hand foiled details.
