Size: UNSURE
Edition: UNIQUE

Diogo Rustoff is a Brazilian visual artist born in 1985 in Goiânia. He lives and works in this same city, where his artistic practice is deeply influenced by the intersection of punk rock, comic books, and the surrounding agricultural industrial environment. A self taught painter and illustrator since childhood, he formally pursued his education in Visual Arts at the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), where he began experimenting with stencils, printmaking, and poster art. Starting around 2006, he focused heavily on urban interventions, creating a distinct, gritty aesthetic that often explores themes of information manipulation, memory, and political satire. As an urban interventionist and fine artist, his work is characterized by the use of stencil graffiti to build a fictional, often chaotic, world on public walls. Diogo Rustoff has a notable career spanning over a decade, with four significant solo exhibitions. These exhibitions include a show at the Museu de Arte de Goiânia (MAG) in 2011, a major exhibition at the Vila Cultural Cora Coralina in 2021, and a 2022 exhibition at El Infierno Galeria in Bogotá, Colombia. Furthermore Diogo Rustoff curated and organized the Lambesgóia poster art festival in Goiás, bringing urban art to the streets.
His art is often characterized by bold, monochromatic, or limited color palettes, reflecting his roots in zine culture and punk aesthetics. Among his notable works, he has created pieces exploring the tension between citizens and the state, frequently incorporating agricultural imagery like chainsaws and, as seen in his collection with The Grapa Gallery. Famous pieces or series from his portfolio include "Serra" a painting highlighting environmental destruction"Devotee" an acrylic work, and his 2020 artist book "Rasura" which compiles his recent stencil and print work.
