Jan Kaláb is a Czech contemporary artist whose career bridges the worlds of graffiti, street art, and fine art. Born in Prague in 1978, he began his artistic journey in the early 1990s as one of the first graffiti pioneers in his country after the fall of communism. Known under pseudonyms such as “Cakes” and “Point,” Kaláb quickly earned recognition for his innovative styles and bold interventions in public space.
