Born in 1970, Fairey first gained attention in 1989 with his Andre the Giant Has a Posse sticker campaign, which evolved into the iconic OBEY imagery. His bold, graphic style blends elements of graffiti, pop art, and political propaganda, using limited color palettes and striking compositions to provoke thought and challenge authority.

Fairey’s art gained global recognition during the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign with his HOPE poster of Barack Obama, which became one of the most enduring political images of the 21st century. Beyond politics, his work addresses themes of social justice, environmental issues, war, and corporate influence, often incorporating imagery of peace, resistance, and empowerment.

In addition to his large-scale murals and street art interventions, Fairey’s work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries worldwide, including the Smithsonian, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. His ability to move between underground culture and mainstream recognition without losing his activist spirit has made him a unique voice in contemporary art.

Through his OBEY GIANT project Fairey has cultivated a visual language that resonates globally, encouraging viewers to question their surroundings and the power structures that shape society. Malleus is an internationally renowned art collective based in Italy, best known for its psychedelic rock-inspired posters, screenprints, and artworks that merge music, mysticism, and striking visual design. Founded in the early 2000s, Malleus is comprised of artists Urlo, Poia, and Lu, who together bring backgrounds in illustration, music, and design to their collaborative practice. The collective’s name, meaning “hammer” in Latin, reflects both the force and impact of their creative vision.

Drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau, Surrealism, Pop Art, and underground psychedelia, Malleus produces work that feels simultaneously vintage and modern. Their posters often feature organic, flowing lines, intricate patterns, bold female figures, and an otherworldly atmosphere. These visual elements are tied closely to the music scene, as Malleus has designed limited-edition gig posters for some of the world’s most iconic bands, including The Black Keys, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and Monster Magnet. Each piece is hand-printed in small runs, making their work highly collectible among fans of both music and art.

In addition to concert posters, Malleus creates fine art prints, album artwork, and large-scale illustrations. Their art embodies a unique fusion of countercultural sensibilities with fine craftsmanship, often using silkscreen techniques and experimental materials to achieve richly textured results. The collective also plays an active role in the international “rock poster” movement, regularly exhibiting at festivals, galleries, and cultural events worldwide.

Artist: Imbue
Title: Always The Real Thing (Cola Fade)
Medium: Resin Sculpture
Size: 6 x 12.2 x 5 cm
Edition: UNSURE

Imbue is a UK-based contemporary artist known for provocative artworks that fuse pop culture, consumer branding, and social critique. Often compared to Banksy and other subversive street artists, Imbue’s work challenges viewers to reconsider the systems and symbols that shape modern life. His art frequently manipulates iconic imagery; religious symbols, cartoon characters, corporate logos to spark dialogue around capitalism, faith, and the blurred line between art and advertising.

Emerging from the street art scene in Brighton, Imbue has expanded his practice to include prints, sculptures, and conceptual objects that push boundaries of both legality and taste. Works like his “Holy Coke” bottles glass containers combining sacred and consumerist references have become emblematic of his irreverent, thought-provoking style.

Imbue’s projects often sell out quickly online, creating cult-like anticipation for each release. His limited-edition prints and objects circulate widely among collectors who are drawn to his bold, controversial approach. While rooted in street-level interventions, his reach extends into galleries and global exhibitions, where his pieces resonate with audiences questioning consumer culture.

By confronting familiar symbols with biting humor and critique, Imbue has established himself as one of the more recognized independent voices in contemporary street and urban art.

Goto Atsuko 'Wandering Despair Is Dreaming' Print Available

Artist: Goto Atsuko
Title: Wandering Despair Is Dreaming
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: 18 x 24 Inches
Edition: 50
Prices: $525

Atsuko Goto creates beautifully melancholic images of delicate figures cloaked and merged with natural elements, everything from flowers and butterflies to insects, birds, and fish. Her muted palette is as ghostly as haze, achieved through the unique application of diluted pigments made from semi-precious lapis lazuli, ink, and gum arabic applied to cotton.

Inspired by Japanese Shinto and the belief that nature is animated by divinity and sacred spirits harbored in every living and inanimate thing, Goto creates imagery that conveys this feeling of profuse life force and intangible mystery, offset by a darker suggestion of mourning and lament. Quietly meditative, her works exude a dreamlike calm and resignation despite their abundance of detail and the density of her compositions. Silence and forlorn composure define this existence of the preternatural.

Fragile in their tempered darkness, the works are subtle and near translucent – like the unknown light and strange optics of an otherworldly plane where everything is unsubstantial. A feeling of entrapment and isolation persists, however, in the quietude. Like hauntings from the subconscious, the paintings feel like faded dreams, surreal distortions bordering on the ominous. Unsettling, the muted beauty of these diaphanous idols loom, uncannily caught in a thin veil between worlds.
