Born in 1995, his journey toward a full-time artistic focus was preceded by a robust academic foundation in architecture at the University of Porto, following his early studies at Escola Artística António Arroio. Although he spent years filling sketchbooks with detailed human figures, it was around 2020 that Tomás Castro Neves began consistently sharing his digital and manual illustrations with a wider audience, eventually leaving his architectural career in 2023 to dedicate himself entirely to his visual practice. This transition allowed him to merge the structural precision of his training with an expressive fluidity that explores masculinity and the human form through a bold, figurative lens.
