Dreaming in Telchac

 Magnolia soared higher, the warm breeze kissing her cheek. Below her the beach glistened with tiny flecks of gold, the only remnants of the morning’s disagreement with her mother. She had everything she needed: her treasures, the Magic Fish, and her faithful flock of friends. This would be

their grandest adventure yet.

Tea Time

 Magnolia was hungry so she decided to have a tea party. She prepared a sumptuous feast and invited every cat she had ever heard of (and some that she hadn’t). The cats dined and listened as Magnolia shared stories of her magnificent journey. The cats told jokes, swapped bird hunting tips, and debated which were the best spots for napping in the sun. 

Making New Friends

 While exploring the woods, Magnolia reached for a mushroom to see if it was the poisonous kind. But it bit her finger and yelled, “Help!” Shocked, Magnolia dropped the tiny creature. The gnome was cross at first but Magnolia was apologetic and kind. Before long he was proudly introducing the enormous girl to his entire gnome family and all of their neighbors in the enchanted forest.

The Great Fish 

The abundance of magic Magnolia encountered that day had only stoked her wanderlust. She could not wait to find out what would happen next. New places, new adventures, new friends. With the hum of the flock flapping and swimming around her she laughed and whispered to the Great Fish, “Faster! Faster!’
