Manocki, real name Manon Biernacki as is a French artist and illustrator originally from Paris. She was raised in the French capital and began her creative career there as an animator after completing studies in graphic design and animation at the Atelier de Sèvres. In 2021, she moved to Vancouver, Canada, to seek new creative environments and has since become an active member of the local arts community while continuing to gain global recognition for her soulful and introspective works.

Her artistic practice is characterized by a blend of digital and traditional techniques, including oil painting and stone lithography. Manocki's work frequently explores themes of identity, human emotion, and the relationship between people and nature. She is particularly noted for her surrealist-influenced portraits that often feature vibrant colors and deep textures to convey personal and universal narratives. One of her significant series focuses on Black youth, utilizing botanical elements to represent resilience and growth while challenging societal stereotypes. In 2024 and 2025, her reach expanded through major collaborations, such as creating portraits for Spotify’s The Gold Standard exhibition in New York. While she utilizes modern technology to develop her initial compositions, her final pieces are celebrated for their emotive depth and painterly execution.
