Redbellyboy, whose real name is Ewan Taylor, is a Scottish filmmaker and artist known for his vibrant and humorous art style that draws heavily from pop culture and graphic design. Originally from Aberdeen, he honed his craft at Edinburgh College of Art before establishing his career in London. His work is characterized by bright colors, bold lettering, intricate designs, and a cheeky sense of humour, all handcrafted as limited edition screenprints and laser cut art from his studio at Print Club London in Hackney. Taylor aims to squeeze as much inspiration from film, graphic design, and loud music into his pieces as possible, ensuring each design possesses both quality and a unique outlook. The artist gained significant recognition when his print, 'Women of The World Take Over', was hand selected by the esteemed artist Grayson Perry for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2022. He has also been a featured artist at The Other Art Fair in London, where FAD magazine named him one of the best of the fair, and has had a solo show at The Farm, Soho. His gallery representation includes Jealous Gallery, Print Club London, SOTA, and Art Pistol Glasgow, and his collectors include well known personalities such as Caroline Quentin, Paul Whitehouse, and Frankie Boyle.
