FAILE is the Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil (b. 1975, Edmonton, Canada) and Patrick Miller (b. 1976, Minneapolis, USA), known for its wide-ranging multimedia practice that blurs the lines between "high" and "low" culture. The name FAILE is an anagram of their original project, "A Life," and reflects the duo's philosophy of transformation. Since their inception in 1999, FAILE has established itself as a significant force in contemporary art, recognized as pioneers in the global street art movement.

Their signature style is a fragmented form of appropriation and collage, constructed from found imagery and characterized by bold graphics, vibrant colors, and dynamic typography. FAILE's work draws heavily from American pop culture, advertising, comic books, and pulp magazines, blending these elements into visually complex narratives.

While painting and printmaking remain central to their approach, the artists have adapted their style to a vast array of materials and techniques, including large-scale murals, screenprints, sculptures, and ambitious interactive installations. Notable projects include large-scale "Prayer Wheels" in Times Square and an urban temple in Portugal, as well as the interactive "Deluxx Fluxx" arcade, which features customized video games and pinball machines.
