Stella im Hultberg 'Audrey' SNEAK PEEK

Here is a SNEAK PEEK at 'Audrey' by artist Stella im Hultberg. This is her submission into the upcoming David Lynch themed art show.

i chose (if it isn't so obviously already!) Audrey Horne for my inspiration for the piece.

"i often found the dualistic identities of doppelgangers, dream-like story telling of David Lynch very relatable to my personal works, at least in concept if not visually obvious. i thought the same when i watched Twin Peaks (well, i guess the duality theme is included in the title), how each character seemed to have dualistic characters, straddling two (or more) worlds. just my take, that is. something about the character of Audrey Horne was very intriguing. a girl, on the verge of being a woman, a smart, sassy, mature character that also has that innocent naïveté. something just starting to sprout out that could either become either "black" or "white" (as in the lodges in the show). i find that i'm very drawn to characters/people that reside in the in-between worlds. (maybe, probably because i identify with them). so i chose her to represent my impression of the show (though not a portrait, per se), although there could've been so many other facets to explore obviously."

Dain 'Heidi Lipstick' SNUB NOSE Prints Available

The SNUB NOSE print by artist Dain called 'Heidi Lipstick' is now available at Brooklynite Gallery in the Extras section. These are 5.5 x 8 inch mixed media screen prints with unique hand finishing having an edition size of 500, comes signed and numbered by the artist for $25 each. Jermaine Rogers 'Love' Prints Release Details

Here is the next release from artist Jermaine Rogers. These prints are all called 'Love'. There is a bunch of different options available.

'LOVE' Art Print This print is screen printed on gallery white stock and measures approx. 22 x 20 inches. About the imagery, Jermaine said, 'I primarily wanted this image to be a message to Californians (this image was also used on a WEEN poster for their recent show in Los Angeles). It's just a friendly reminder to be fair...and to be leaders. MLK said that a 'right deferred is a right denied'. The next time you get the chance, California...lead the way. Be fair. With so much scandalous hate in the world, I find it strange that some folks get so bent out of shape when two people decide that they just want to love each other. Adult to adult, consensual LOVE. 'LOVE' Gold Matte Foil This poster is printed on gold matte foil stock. From a signed and numbered edition of only 25 prints.

'LOVE' Diamond Dust Edition Diamond Dusting is a meticulous process by which hundreds (perhaps thousands) of small polished crystals are adhered to enamel elements in the imagery of a print. This creates a rich, glittery image and adds an entirely new 3rd dimension to the print. This process was popularized in the 1970's and 1980's by Andy Warhol. From a very limited signed and numbered edition of only 8 prints.

'LOVE' (Defaced Edition) NOTE: These prints are hand defaced by the artists with pencil, ink, and whatever other thing may strike his fancy at the time. They are not meant to be 'pretty'. Expect an ugly mess of 'honesty'. From an edition of only 10.

Candice Tripp is finally releasing a new print!

Produced by and available from Black Rat Projects is “Can You Smell Burning?”, a 10 colour screen print on Somerset Satin 300 GSM 55cm x 66cm. The edition is limited to 50 (£225 a pop) with a further 10 to be hand-finished and sold as a special edition. There will also be new editions from Matt Small and Swoon, along with an installation from ROA (more information at BRP)
