Ricardo Romero (b. 1981, Évora, Portugal) is a self taught multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Leiria, Portugal. Since the mid 1990s, working under the pseudonym "Ship," he began his artistic journey with a focus on graffiti and mural painting, utilizing urban art as a powerful vehicle for communication and social engagement, particularly in workshops and short courses for young people. His diverse practice has since expanded to encompass painting, sculpture, photography, video, and installations, reflecting a constant dialogue between poetic expression and architectural space.
