Wet Leg is a British indie rock band originating from the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. The group was founded in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, who first met while studying at the Isle of Wight College. Their rapid ascent in the music industry began with the release of their debut single, Chaise Longue, in 2021, which became a viral sensation for its deadpan delivery and catchy hooks. The duo is known for blending post-punk influences with surrealist lyrics and a distinctive sense of humor, often exploring themes of youth and social awkwardness.
Following the success of their initial singles, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2022. The record received widespread critical acclaim and reached the top of the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia. Their music is characterized by driving guitar riffs and harmonized vocals that balance playful irony with genuine emotion. The band expanded their lineup for live performances, incorporating additional musicians to recreate their studio sound on stage.
The group has earned significant recognition, including multiple Grammy Awards and Brit Awards, solidifying their place in the modern alternative scene. Despite their sudden fame, they have maintained a reputation for being grounded and eccentric, often appearing in coordinated outfits that reflect their whimsical aesthetic. Their rise represents a significant moment for the Isle of Wight music scene, bringing global attention to the small island. As they continue to tour and record, Wet Leg remains a prominent force in the current landscape of guitar-driven rock music.

Joshua Horkey 'Given Free' Tondo Available

Artist: Joshua Horkey
Title: Given Free
Medium: Collage + Mixed Media
Size: Ø17 Inches
Edition: UNIQUE
Price: $1,700

Joshua Horkey is a mixed media artist from the United States, born in Windom, Minnesota, in 1976. He currently lives and maintains a studio in Southwest Florida, where he produces a variety of layered works using acrylics, collage, and found materials. His creative background is deeply rooted in the apparel industry, having spent over twenty years as a designer and graphic artist after studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. This extensive professional history in fashion and graphic design heavily informs his use of color, typography, and visual layout.
Horkey’s artistic practice focuses on the intersection of memory, media, and physical materials. He often works on wood panels and reclaimed surfaces, such as antique windows, to build compositions that feature vintage ephemera and appropriated comic imagery. His process involves a tactile method of adding and tearing back layers of paint and paper, a technique that highlights the history of each piece and resists the flat nature of digital imagery. Through his work, he explores themes of human vulnerability, the overabundance of media, and the way visual noise shapes our collective perception. His art has been exhibited internationally and is included in the permanent collection of the Moleskine Foundation in Milan, Italy.

Peter Doig is a celebrated painter originally from Scotland, born in Edinburgh in 1959. His life has been defined by a nomadic existence, moving as a child to Trinidad and later to Canada, where he spent much of his youth in Montreal and Toronto. This itinerant upbringing profoundly informs his artistic practice, as he often draws from a "place in between places" to create works that blend personal memory with found imagery. He received his formal education in London, attending the Wimbledon School of Art, Saint Martin’s School of Art, and the Chelsea School of Art, where he earned his Master of Arts in 1990.
His work is characterized by dreamlike, evocative landscapes that frequently feature motifs such as lone canoes, cabins, and dense forests. While his scenes often reference specific locations from his past, such as the snowy vistas of Canada or the tropical light of Trinidad, they are not strictly representational. Instead, Doig utilizes photographs, film stills, and newspaper clippings as tools to explore the illusionistic properties of paint and the fluid nature of memory. His unique approach gained significant recognition in the 1990s, leading to a Turner Prize nomination in 1994 and establishing him as a pivotal figure in the return to figurative painting. After spending nearly two decades living and working in Trinidad, he recently returned to London, continuing to produce large-scale compositions that captivate viewers with their enigmatic atmospheres and rich, expressive color palettes.
