Mr Doodle, whose real name is Sam Cox, is a globally recognized artist from Kent, England, who has revolutionized the art world with his dense, intricate black and white patterns known as "graffiti spaghetti". Born in 1994, Cox began to focus seriously on his art from a young age, filling his childhood notebooks and bedroom walls with characters, eventually deciding to make a career out of his obsessive compulsion to doodle. His formal education took place at the University of the West of England in Bristol, where he studied illustration and graduated in 2015. During his university years, he adopted his signature persona, often appearing in public wearing clothing completely covered in his own patterns, establishing the Mr Doodle character.

Significant accomplishments for Mr Doodle include transforming his six bedroom mansion into a fully covered, immersive artwork, a two year project completed in 2022 that covered every surface inside and out, as noted by the BBC. He has amassed millions of followers on social media, becoming a significant force in the art market with his works selling for high figures at auction; in 2020, he was ranked the fifth most successful artist under 40 at auction. He has executed major brand collaborations, including designing for Fendi, Puma, and Samsung. A key piece of art that brought him viral attention was his 60 hour, non stop, live performance doodling a London shop in 2017.

His art exhibitions have been held in prestigious venues across the globe. In 2024, he held his first museum exhibition, "Mr Doodle Museum Mayhem," at The Holburne Museum in Bath, United Kingdom. In 2022, he presented "Mr Doodle in Love" at the chi K11 Art Museum in Shanghai.
