Mike Strong and Becky Hardy are the creative husband and wife force behind the United States based art studio known as Strong and Hardy. They currently operate their professional practice from a seven acre property in Beggs Oklahoma having relocated there from Denver Colorado in late 2020. The duo officially established their collective identity as Strong and Hardy in 2021 shortly after their move to the Sooner State. Mike originally hails from Philadelphia while Becky was born in Las Cruces New Mexico and holds dual citizenship with Australia. Their work is deeply rooted in the fusion of historical imagery and digital collage techniques often incorporating elements of science and anatomy into their visual narratives.

The artistic journey for Strong and Hardy began in earnest when they decided to combine their individual talents to create art that bridges the gap between different centuries. Becky Hardy brings a background in photography to the partnership having previously exhibited her nude photography in various galleries globally under different monikers. Mike Strong developed his skills through a non traditional path having left high school at age fifteen to enter the workforce before eventually finding his calling in the visual arts. Their formal and informal education has culminated in a style that utilizes historical sources such as the 1899 platinum photographs of Frank A. Rinehart and the 1882 astronomical drawings of Etienne Leopold Trouvelot to craft something entirely new for the modern collector.

Significant accomplishments for the pair include their status as a Star Seller on Etsy with over one thousand sales and a consistent five star rating from the print collector community. They have successfully launched numerous limited edition series that are highly sought after by those who appreciate dark and poetic themes.
