Arthur Brouthers 'Juniper Starship' Print Available

Artist: Arthur Brouthers
Title: Juniper Starship
Medium: Giclee Print
Size: 24 x 30 Inches
Edition: OPEN
Price: $280

Arthur Brouthers is a multidisciplinary artist from the United States. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, he eventually established his primary studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before fully committing to the visual arts, Brouthers pursued a successful career in music that allowed him to travel across the country, though he eventually returned to painting to fulfill a deeper creative need. His background is largely self-taught, characterized by over a decade of rigorous experimentation with various mediums and environmental factors to achieve highly specific textures and visual effects.
The artist is recognized for a signature fluid painting technique that mimics complex natural phenomena, such as microscopic organisms or celestial bodies. By manipulating acrylic paint, spray paint, and inks with oversized brushes and custom tools, he creates intricate, cellular-like separations. In his figurative pieces, Brouthers applies between four and fifteen layers of clear resin to create a sense of three-dimensional depth, often using his abstract patterns as the skin for human subjects. This process reflects a fascination with the marriage of physical bodies and spiritual energy, as well as the limited control humans have over the natural world. His work has gained significant reach, appearing in major Hollywood films like Get Out and being exhibited at international venues such as Art Basel Switzerland.

Olaoluwa Slawn Akeredolu-Ale, better known as Olaolu Slawn, is a Nigerian artist and designer whose meteoric rise has blurred the boundaries between street culture and high art. Born in 2000 in Lagos, Nigeria, he initially found his creative footing within the city's first skate shop, WAFFLESNCREAM, where he eventually became a creative director. He co-founded the influential streetwear collective Motherlan, which garnered attention from major industry figures like the late Virgil Abloh. After relocating to London in 2018 to study graphic design, he pivoted to painting during the 2020 lockdowns, developing a signature style defined by bold caricatures, graffiti-inspired linework, and vibrant spray paint on large-scale canvases.
His work often explores complex themes such as racial identity, human psychology, and political conflict, frequently incorporating playful yet provocative imagery rooted in his Yoruba heritage. Despite his self-effacing claim that he is not a traditional artist, Olaolu Slawn has achieved remarkable commercial and institutional success. In 2023, he made history as the youngest person to design the Britannia statuette for the BRIT Awards, and in 2024, he became the first artist to officially redesign the FA Cup trophy. His high-profile collaborations extend to brands like RolexLouis Vuitton, and Nike, while his auctions at Sotheby's have seen his works fetch tens of thousands of pounds. Beyond the canvas, he maintains a community presence through BeauBeau’s Cafe in East London, serving as a hub for his multifaceted creative output.

_______________

BlokOne is a prominent British street artist originally from Leeds, England. Emerging from the urban landscape of West Yorkshire, the artist began creating public works in 2013 and has since gained international recognition for a signature style that merges the raw energy of graffiti with refined graphic elements. The artist is particularly known for a bold visual language characterized by vibrant colors, geometric forms, and layered textures that pulse with rhythm. Central to this work are recurring themes of love, unity, and human connection, often represented through stylized characters that aim to brighten the daily lives of passersby. One of the most famous pieces overlooks London's Kings Road, a work so well loved by local residents that they successfully campaigned for its preservation.
While rooted in the streets of Leeds and London, BlokOne has expanded into the gallery world with limited edition screen prints and acrylic canvases. A recent 2025 project involved touring North America, where the artist curated scrap paper from billboards and fly posters in various cities to create new narratives on canvas. This practice of repurposing urban detritus reflects a deep commitment to the history and heartbeat of the city, bridging the gap between historical architecture and the current urban environment. Despite this global reach, the artist frequently returns to the open walls of the United Kingdom to continue the tradition of using public space as a catalyst for conversation.

_______________

Matt Saunders is a prominent artist born in 1975 in the United Kingdom. Although he maintains strong ties to his British origins, he has spent a significant portion of his career working between Berlin and Cambridge, Massachusetts. His practice is defined by a unique intersection of painting, photography, and moving images, often blurring the boundaries between these distinct disciplines. Rather than utilizing a traditional camera to capture his subjects, he frequently creates hand-painted or drawn negatives on semi-transparent materials like Mylar or linen. These handmade matrices are then used in a darkroom process to produce silver gelatin prints or chromogenic color photographs. This method allows him to manipulate light and chemistry to evoke a sense of memory, haunting, and historical resonance.
The subject matter in his work often references mid-century European cinema, avant-garde performance, and found portraits of actors from a bygone era. By translating these fleeting cinematic moments into physical, tactile objects, he explores how images circulate and transform over time. His aesthetic is characterized by soft edges, bleed-through effects, and a layered luminosity that suggests a state of constant flux. Beyond static prints, he has gained acclaim for his animated works, which are meticulously constructed from thousands of individual ink drawings. These animations further emphasize his fascination with the mechanics of seeing and the rhythmic pulse of the moving image. Through his innovative use of materials and deep engagement with the history of film, he has established himself as a vital figure in the international art dialogue, representing a sophisticated evolution of British creative traditions.

_________________

Wet Leg is a British indie rock band originating from the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. The group was founded in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, who first met while studying at the Isle of Wight College. Their rapid ascent in the music industry began with the release of their debut single, Chaise Longue, in 2021, which became a viral sensation for its deadpan delivery and catchy hooks. The duo is known for blending post-punk influences with surrealist lyrics and a distinctive sense of humor, often exploring themes of youth and social awkwardness.
Following the success of their initial singles, the band released their self-titled debut album in 2022. The record received widespread critical acclaim and reached the top of the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia. Their music is characterized by driving guitar riffs and harmonized vocals that balance playful irony with genuine emotion. The band expanded their lineup for live performances, incorporating additional musicians to recreate their studio sound on stage.
The group has earned significant recognition, including multiple Grammy Awards and Brit Awards, solidifying their place in the modern alternative scene. Despite their sudden fame, they have maintained a reputation for being grounded and eccentric, often appearing in coordinated outfits that reflect their whimsical aesthetic. Their rise represents a significant moment for the Isle of Wight music scene, bringing global attention to the small island. As they continue to tour and record, Wet Leg remains a prominent force in the current landscape of guitar-driven rock music.

Joshua Horkey 'Given Free' Tondo Available

Artist: Joshua Horkey
Title: Given Free
Medium: Collage + Mixed Media
Size: Ø17 Inches
Edition: UNIQUE
Price: $1,700

Joshua Horkey is a mixed media artist from the United States, born in Windom, Minnesota, in 1976. He currently lives and maintains a studio in Southwest Florida, where he produces a variety of layered works using acrylics, collage, and found materials. His creative background is deeply rooted in the apparel industry, having spent over twenty years as a designer and graphic artist after studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. This extensive professional history in fashion and graphic design heavily informs his use of color, typography, and visual layout.
Horkey’s artistic practice focuses on the intersection of memory, media, and physical materials. He often works on wood panels and reclaimed surfaces, such as antique windows, to build compositions that feature vintage ephemera and appropriated comic imagery. His process involves a tactile method of adding and tearing back layers of paint and paper, a technique that highlights the history of each piece and resists the flat nature of digital imagery. Through his work, he explores themes of human vulnerability, the overabundance of media, and the way visual noise shapes our collective perception. His art has been exhibited internationally and is included in the permanent collection of the Moleskine Foundation in Milan, Italy.
