Here is a slick nautical themed print from the crew over at Brainstorm. This print is called 'Red Sky At Night' and it is a 3 colour 19 x 25 inch screen print and they cost only $30 each. There are 3 other new releases but this is the sh*t in my opinion.

Lost 12th Print Release Date + Time Confirmed

So here it is, the next time and date for the next possibility of scoring a 'LOST' art prints being released to honour the tv show. There have been some great artists already including Ian Millard, Methane Studios, Eric Tan, Dan McCarthy, Tim Doyle, Kevin Tong,... Now we wait to see who the next featured artist is.

Chris Speakman '40 Pennants', 'Mainfest Destiny' + 'World Series' Prints Released

Here are a couple of cool New York Yankee World Series themed prints by artist Chris Speakman. These are available at his website. The above print is called '40 Pennants' the middle image is called 'Manifest Destiny' and the bottom print is called 'World Series 2009'. All of these are 17 x 23 inch hand pulled screen prints with an edition size of 400 each, these come signed and numbered by the artist for $40 each.

Keep Calm Gallery 'Oh Deer' Kraft Print Released

Ha, I love this print by Hayley & Lucas over at Keep Calm Gallery. This print is the perfect happy medium to keep a couple together. This trophy print is called 'Oh Deer'. It is a 1 colour white hand pulled 15.5 x 21.5 inch screen print on 100% recycled brown kraft paper for only $28.22 each. I really dig this colour for the stag's colour but there are also Gold and Black versions available in Keep Calm's online shop.

Todd Slater 'The Dead Weather' + 'Ween' Prints Released

Here is a beautiful concert/art print from artist Todd Slater, this print was made for 'The Dead Weather' gig at The Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 4th. I am not a big fan of concert posters generally but this is a thing of beauty. The spines, ribs and bones perfectly postioned to make a very menacing looking grizzly bear. A thing of beauty indeed. This is a 3 colour 17.5 x 25.25 inch screen print with an edition size of 130, comes signed and numbered by the artist for $40 each. He also dropped a pretty cool 'Ween' gig print inspired by Alice In Wonderland (below) and a very cool looking copper variant of the same 'Ween' (bottom) print too.

BA5H 'Invader', 'Pink', 'Crunch' + 'Melody' Prints Released

Here are some more NEW funky prints from U.K. coin artist BA5H. The print above is called 'Invader' and it is a 30 x 30 cm giclee print on Somerset 225 GSM velvet fine art paper with an edition size of 100, comes signed, stamped and numbered by the artist for £100 each. The second print is called 'Pink' is a 30 x 30 cm giclee print on Somerset 225 GSM velvet fine art paper with an edition size of 100, comes signed, stamped and numbered by the artist for £100 each. The third print is called 'Crunch'  is a 15 x 15 cm lithograph on 380 GSM recycled stock with an edition size of 500 comes signed, stamped and numbered by the artist for ONLY £8 each. The bottom print is called 'Medley' and it depicts a few of the coins BA5H has created so far it is a 30 x 30 cm giclee print on Somerset 225 GSM velvet fine art paper with an edition size of 100, comes signed, stamped and numbered by the artist for £160 each. I really like the usage of coins as the medium, we have all tried to have a penny run over by a train at some time in our life. makes me want to start collecting coins again.

Dan Witz 'Dark Doings' AMAZING Art Show

Here are two examples of artist Dan Witz's work. I really dig this work he is doing!! When I walk around my city schemeing up art ideas the commonality that all buildings share is that they ALL have doors, so that has been a focus of mine the last while. Dan did a fantastic job at making something boring, intriguing. Dan is having a show called 'Dark Doings' at the Carmichael Gallery opening tonight Thursday November 5th until Saturday December 5th. If you are in the hood... WOW, I just got the preview sent to me and you have to go by and see this show...

Nick Walker 'TMA Moscow' Print Lottery

Black Rat Press is delighted to be publishing the latest edition from Nick Walker’s 'The Morning After' series. TMA Moscow is a 16 colour screen print and is our favourite TMA print to date. From past releases we know that the demand for this series of prints is extremely high and that whichever way we release it some people will be disappointed. Nick has decided, and we agree, that the fairest way to do this release is via a lottery style system. This allows for people in different parts of the world and those not available to queue or be near a computer at a specific time to have an equal chance.
