Shepard Fairey is a contemporary American artist, activist, and founder of OBEY GIANT, widely recognized as one of the most influential figures in modern street art. Born in 1970, Fairey first gained attention in 1989 with his Andre the Giant Has a Posse sticker campaign, which evolved into the iconic OBEY imagery.
