____________

Jim Pollock is a prolific American artist best known for his distinctive and intricate linoleum block prints, particularly those created for the band Phish. A graduate of Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont, Pollock began creating posters for local bands in the 1980s, eventually becoming a cornerstone of Phish's visual identity. His work is instantly recognizable for its dense, detailed imagery, often featuring surreal landscapes populated by whimsical, dancing skeletons, fish, and various mythic creatures. Each color in a multi-color print often requires a separate block, which he meticulously layers. The resulting prints, frequently hand-signed and numbered, are produced in limited runs, making them highly coveted items among collectors.
Beyond his association with Phish, Pollock has applied his unique aesthetic to a variety of other projects, including album covers, festival merchandise, and work for other musical acts like moe. and String Cheese Incident. His art has a universal appeal, blending elements of folk art, psychedelic graphic design, and a touch of the macabre. He remains a beloved figure in the live music poster world, influencing a generation of graphic artists with his dedication to craft and his vibrant, imaginative style. Amy Sol 'Blue Night' Painting Available

Artist: Amy Sol
Title: Blue Night
Medium: Acrylic on Wood Panel
Size: 9 x 12 Inches
Edition: UNIQUE
Price: $2,000

Amy Sol is a prominent American painter and sculptor known for her evocative, dreamlike artwork that blends the natural world with introspective narratives. The self-taught artist spent her childhood in Korea before moving to Las Vegas, where she established her unique visual language, though some sources indicate she currently lives in California. Her style is a unique synthesis, influenced by disparate sources such as classical animation (including Ghibli films and early Disney), manga, traditional folk art, and vintage illustration.
Sol’s art is characterized by a distinctive, muted color palette, which she developed over many years by mixing various pigments and mediums. She typically paints on glazed, primed wooden panels, purposefully incorporating the natural grain of the wood into the composition to add a sense of organic flow and life to her pieces. The subject matter often features young female figures interacting with oversized or fantastical animals in tranquil, exotic landscapes filled with mist, unusual plants, and rolling hills. These figures are typically in a state of repose or quiet reflection, and the animals are presented not as pets but as mythic partners or companions.
Working with an intuitive process, Sol intends for the theme of each image to be subjectively interpreted by the viewer, often using her creative time as a form of meditation. Her art aims to invite a sense of calm and introspection, encouraging viewers to find a connection with nature and their inner selves. Since the early 2010s, her work has been exhibited internationally in galleries, art fairs, and as large scale public murals, solidifying her place in the Pop Surrealism or "cartoon-tainted abstract surrealism" movements. Her work continues to explore themes of companionship, human pathos, and the tranquility found in a harmonious blend of the earthly and the ethereal.

Isaac Pelayo 'When Doves Cry' Print Available

Artist: Isaac Pelayo
Title: When Doves Cry
Medium: Hand Embellished Giclee Print
Size: 14 x 20 Inches
Edition: 50
Price: $150

Isaac Pelayo is a contemporary American painter whose distinctive style embodies a "head-on collision between Renaissance art and street culture". Born in Los Angeles in 1996, Pelayo found an escape from a tumultuous childhood in art, initially developing his skills through hyperrealistic pencil portraits and later transitioning to oil painting. His work is deeply influenced by Old Masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt, a fascination developed from visiting museums, which he juxtaposes with inspiration from modern graffiti artists like Shepard Fairey and the raw energy of the urban environment he grew up in. This unique blend, which he calls "Street Baroque," features meticulously rendered classical imagery alongside loose, expressionistic elements like careless paint drips, spray paint, and his signature motif of a third eye and a yellow smiley face.
Pelayo's career gained significant momentum in 2017 after rapper and art collector Westside Gunn discovered his work on Instagram. This connection led to collaborations on album covers for Gunn and other artists on the Griselda Records label, significantly boosting Pelayo's public profile and attracting a wide network of celebrity collectors including Sean "Diddy" Combs and Shepard Fairey. A notable moment in his career came in 2019 when he installed a temporary wall across from the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills, featuring an altered Mona Lisa with the text "walls are for art! Not dividing people" as a protest against the U.S.-Mexico border wall. After being laid off from his job in the Ink and Paint department at Disney during the COVID-19 pandemic, Pelayo successfully turned his artistic side hustle into a six-figure income, selling numerous paintings and prints online and becoming a sought-after tattoo artist for influencers. He continues to exhibit his work in galleries and museums and is actively involved in various entrepreneurial endeavors within the art and music worlds.
