Banksy 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' Makes Top 5

The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Science today announced their final nominations in each category for the upcoming Oscars awards show February 27th, 2011 in Los Angeles. I was extremely happy to see Banksy's documentary 'Exit Through The Gift Shop' made it to the top 5. :) I am also quite surprised 'Waiting For Superman' did not make the cut!!

Stukenborg 'Iowa 3' + 'Iowa 5' Dice Pattern Prints Available

Here are some very cool dice art letter press prints, the above piece is called 'Iowa 3' and the image below is called 'Iowa 5'. "These pieces were printed on a Vandercook 32-38 letterpress with an edition of 10. The composition was built by arranging 1,147 dice on the bed of the press, and ink was rolled directly onto the face of the die for each impression. This is a 22 x 26 inch letter press print on 250 GSM Stonehenge white with deckled edges, comes signed and numbered by the artist for $250 each. The names 'Iowa' for the prints come from a series of works that were done while I was a visiting artist at the University of Iowa."
