Head to DUNNYFEST at Dragon*Con for the pre-release of the highly anticipated Dunny Series 2009. Celebrate with many of today’s favorite vinyl artists, such as Huck Gee, Sket One, Tara McPherson, Kathie Olivas, Alex Pardee, Brandt Peters, Doktor A, Attaboy, Carlos East and The Baroness!

The artists will be on hand to sign the awesome new series and posters, plus there will be rad giveaways and door prizes. This special signing event is FREE to Dragon*Con badge holders and there will be very limited quantities, so make sure to arrive early! The Vissell BEE is SICK and the Supakitch raccoon is AWESOME!

Here is this weeks release from Tiny Showcase, this piece is by artist William Schaff this is called 'Cicada' it is a 6 x 6 inch paper cut out print with an edition of 200 for $22 each. ach piece from this edition measures 6 inches square with plenty of border for framing. The original artwork was created by William Schaff. We have replicated the piece in an archival, non-fading 270gsm forest green printmaking paper. It comes packaged with an archival antique white background. The back of each papercut includes the edition information and each papercut ships with its own certificate of authenticity. Mode2 'Oh Shit' Edition of 200 Size: 70 x 100 cm £225 Each

"Widely considered to be one of the most influential street artists ever, Mode2 continues to push eroticism in his gallery work, often quite explicitly, while trying to keep men and women engaged in an egalitarian dialogue about sexuality. Capturing movement and energy, freezing the action at its most crucial stage, Mode2’s work has always focused on issues close to him: love, lust, relationships, hip hop culture in all its aspects, clubbing, hanging out, the environment and motherhood. Constructed and created entirely on-site in the Newcastle gallery basement, Mode2 has utilised the practical and modular qualities of cardboard, building up his painting surfaces with a patchwork mosaic assembly of differing textures and shades, cutting and juxtaposing well over 100 separate pieces into compositions until they found a particular harmony in his eye. Only after completing this laborious task did he move on to the actual sketching and painting with pastels and acrylic itself. Besides these new paintings, there's the added bonus of the ground floor of the gallery showing a selection of his sketches something of a first for Mode2 as he's never before allowed us to look behind his more public painting work."
