The Nakatomi Invitational Season 2 is now available! The line up we’ve got this time around is just out of control- Kevin Tong- Scientist of Art Guy Burwell- Poster Legend Jeff Kleinsmith- Sub-Pop Records art director/ Poster guy Craig McCracken- Creator of the Powerpuff Girls Spacesick- artist/designer of the future/past Nick Derington- Lead Animator ‘A Scanner, Darkly’ Jim Mahfood- Indie Comic Book Rabble-rouser Jay Ryan – God This time around, we gave each artist the general theme of ‘Robots’. All the art is in, and you all are in for some great surprises over the next few months! There will be only 10 subscriptions sold. When you purchase a Subscription, you will get- -The Nakatomi Invitational shirt and poster package once a month for the next 8 months. - A ‘Mystery Tube’ during the run that will include 4 prints and a shirt (that you don’t already have!) - ‘The Vaults of Nakatomi’- if Nakatomi releases a print, and it sells out, and you miss out- just email and we’ll sell you one. We always keep 10 prints back in the vault, and we’re giving you the keys. The subscriptions are for ALL 8 posters and shirt sets for the same price as last year’s 6 print set- $300. And this time around, all prints and shirts are limited to JUST 100 copies each. This Invitational Season, we have our own print shop, and ALL ART is in hand and ready to print, so the wait for your tube will be significantly reduced. For all those in Europe, Shepard Fairey is going be in opening for the world famous Z-Trip on a few of his European dates.  Z-Trip and Shep will be lighting up Amsterdam Sept 24th @ Paradiso, hitting up London Sept 25th @ Matter and packing up in Paris Sept 26th @ La Maroquinerie. In light of this mini-tour, Shepard will be releasing a rare tour print.  The 'European Invasion' print will be 18 x 24 inches will come signed and numbered for $45 each on Tuesday September 22nd at a random time. Gavin Harrison 'Win, Fame and Fortune'

Firstly, Keep Calm Gallery is pleased to introduce the work of artist Gavin Harrison. He started his career in illustration, switching to photography twelve years ago, working for clients internationally. Lucky for us Gavin has been developing more personal projects that combine all mediums he has previously worked in, drawing, painting, montage and photography. We are very excited to present Gavin's first ever limited edition prints! The idea for 'Win Fame and Fortune' came while shopping at a Flea market in Spain Gavin found a treasure trove of old magazines. He snapped them up and after a few attempts arrived at this montage combining Spanish and very British images. The format of follows that of a magazine, images are torn away like pages to reveal the image beneath. In some strange surreal way all the different layers reveal images and words that seem to work and make sense in the way that montage does. The idea for the 'Food For Thought' (below) came after Gavin was given a collection of old 1930s/40s recipe books. The food was illustrated in such an enticing way it was great subject matter. Because food is such a central part of our life's and never far from our thoughts, it just seemed a great theme to develop via the medium of montage. Both of these prints are 16.2 x 23.4 inch giclees with an edition size of 50 that come signed and numbered by the artist on Hahnemühle etching paper for $63.49 each. Check it out HERE

FROM WOOSTER: "When Blek Le Rat was in town earlier in the year to work on the Wooster Limited Edition Box Set, he signed a small number (20) of A/P's. Until now this print was available only as part of the larger box set. We only have 20 of the a/p's. These prints are 3 colour 10.5 x 13.5 inch screen prints on archival Lennox 100lb paper stock, they come signed and numbered by Blek for $150 each.
