Here is a wicked enviro minded release from my home boy artist Mau Mau, he combines beauty and environmental issues perfectly, without the need for hairy armpits or any of that malarkey. There are 60 prints in total in this release and they are called 'Mermaid in Oils' this seven colour hand pulled screen print comes with an edition of 12, with 5 variants (blonde, red, gold, black + pink) hair colour on the mermaid. Here are three examples from the release. They come signed, numbered and blind stamped for £75 each. These will be available on the Souled Out site on Friday September 11th at 11am EST. This is an awesome use of design and function here. These KICK ASS 'Labbit' stools by artist Frank Kozik are available through Kidrobot. There are 4 different design options 'Stache' only comes in white, but the 'Smorkin' comes in pink, white or black and they are a good usable size at 30W x 15H x 17L for $1,250 each + shipping these are a commitment. I absolutely love the 'Stache Labbit' above, ditching the five o'clock shadow for a handlebar moustache, this Labbit is groomed for sophistication!! Below is the pink version of the 'Smorkin'. Iconoclast Nightmare Obey Release Again!

Another Obey 'Soup Can III' release and another nightmare from these clowns at Iconoclast. It is sad that most of the info they release to the public ends up being false. The password was released today and within 15 seconds I was on their page and the price said $250, when I clicked to put it in my cart it was showing a price of $750. WTF? These guys are so unprofessional. How the hell does my price change on the way to the cart. Bullshit! You are either a) trying to be intentionally deceitful or b) they are lying about the starting price. Furthermore they removed the password option 30 minutes (NOT 1 HOUR like stated) after pre-release. They intentionally deleted all negative comments on their Facebook page wall until it became too much and then they completely deactivated the wall. Stay away from these guys. They are bad news. I have read lots about their handling of the previous release and it was messy. A lot of excuses from them and a lot of unhappy customers. I can only anticipate more lies, deception and mishandling in the future by the clowns. BUYER BEWARE!!

Here is an awesome piece by artist Evan Hecox, this piece is fully inspired by Evan's recent trip to Vietnam. I checked out his work from the recent show at Joshua Liner but this is a winner. I love the usage of red gives a nice communism feel of the design and the awesome composition of this piece creates a very thoughtful vibe! This beauty is called 'Red Street' it is a gouache and ink on stained 20 x 28 inch paper for $2,800. Check it out HERE

Malleus 'Watching You' + 'Tomorrow Never Knows' Print Releases

Malleus 'Watching You' Edition of 95 Size: 70 x 70 cm €70 Each

Here are two releases from artist Malleus, the above print is called 'Watching You'. This poster was originally realized for a carnival party, so we imagined the cow of the famous cover of Pink Floyd’s “Atom Heart Mother” masked as Gene Simmons of Kiss. We’ve always loved this image, so we decided to realize it in a large size as a handmade silkscreen. First of all for hanging it in our living rooms… ahaha It’s a 7 colours print of about 70 x 70 cm (that is, if I’m not wrong, 27 x 27 inches) on heavy paper. We’ve used a light blue metallic ink, a deep green, a prismatic gold/pink for the shadow on the cow and a metallic black. Well, apart from red, brown and green. We’ve recorded all the printing process and You can see all in the video below. It’s been fun, we usually print on smaller sizes, so we had to change some of our “printing habits”. We’re also working with new inks, so the colours are more vivid and metallic comes out of the paper. Check it out HERE

Malleus 'Tomorrow Never Knows' Edition of 100 Size: 60 x 90 cm 

This print is called 'Tomorrow Never Knows' and it was created in conjunction with the new Beatles museum in Hamburg, celebrating the Beatles formative days on the Reeperbahn. It’s called the Beatlemania Museum. It has five floors, 1300 square meters of Beatles stuff, a yellow submarine…  it’s a huge tourist attraction, right on the Reeperbahn near where Flatstock Europe is located. They have exhibition space, and they’ll host a show of Beatles-themed art prints before, during, and after Flatstock. The show begins on September 24th, with an opening event at 7:00 PM. Thereafter, it will be open from 10am-10pm and is free to anyone with a Reeperbahn Festival pass. We’ll be a part of the event and we’ve create an art print, as a visual interpretation of one of our favourite Beatles song: 'Tomorrow Never Knows', from the album 'Revolver'. Check it out HERE
